Why do you race? "I love the competition and challenges the sport provides. I grew up with racing and realized at a young age that racing was what I wanted to do."

Matt's first experience with racing: "My father raced at Canadaigua in the Sportsman division and I remember going every week to watch him and help working on the car during the week."

Matt's first time in a race: "I raced a go-kart my dad bought me when I was 7 years old."

Most memorable moment in racing: "I would have to say winning the Rite Aid 200 Modified race at Syracuse in 2009 & being the first to win 3 Mr. DIRTcar Modified titles in a row."
